IMI-cpd-team03.10.2011 In order to make Europe more competitive, ECBA joined a broad group of European Professional/Scientific bodies to develop a common framework for Continuous Professional Development (CPD). This enhanced guidance will support scientists working in all aspects of medicines’ discovery, development, processing and usage to maintain their professional competence in a rapidly changing environment.

Stenseth was awarded the Bonnevie Prize 2010 (Bonnevieprisen) by the Norwegian Biologist Association (Norsk biologforening).  The award honoured his outstanding contribution to the dissemination of biology to the general public, both nationally and internationally.

She wants to rename 'FP8', the European Commission's research programme, to make it more meaningful to citizens and is pledging to make funds more accessible to small businesses.
